Did you know that the paper that Maketū Pies snack pie and rolls are packed in is home compostable and recyclable?
We have proprietary packaging that allows our pies and rolls to be heated inside our packaging when cooked in the oven or microwave.
It is also made with home compostable paper certified by TÜV AUSTRIA’S to the OK compost Home certification scheme, which means 90% of the paper will biodegrade within 12 months in home composting conditions. The bag may need to be cut up or moistened to help it break down. We recommend you dispose in a home compost but you can also recycle in your kerbside collection so long as no food contamination has occurred.
